Giving back to the community
Career Day at Vivian Fowler Elementary
Getting ready for Career Day at Vivian Fowler Elementary School. I just finished building an electrical hands-on project to show the students how a 3-way switch, GFCI receptacle, single-pole switch work — and why they're important in everyday homes.
The project also demonstrates two different wiring methods: one wired with Romex and the other using EMT conduit, so the kids can see how electrical work can be done in different ways depending on the application. Looking forward to sharing my experience as an electrician, answering questions, and hopefully inspiring a few future tradespeople.
